Hello !

So, um, here is a thread anew on song-lyrics interpretation, particularly because there are only one, maybe two, credible Mazzy Star / lyrics sites out there, which contain lyrics, but, I continue to find that their interpretations here and there don't seem to match up with my ears and my gut. It is also important to point out here that, as with the Mazzy Star Boulevard site, for example, it is listed there that the lyrics to songs provided are not official, which may contain errors, and that corrections are welcome.

So, although there are several songs which I cannot figure out 100% what Hope is singing, and where the lyrics at Mazzy Star Boulevard don't seem to match, I'll begin hopefully a discussion here, say on one song, for now.

How about the lyrics to Wasted:

I ask everyone to start off with their thoughts as to what word Hope is actually saying in these few lines towards the end of the song, and beginning with what the Mazzy Star Boulevard belief, while I follow with what I hear her saying in this friggin awesome song, and looking forward to what you all think !

(What I am hearing) --
